Review of G Adventures Tour
Day 1- We arrive Denpasar, Bali. Getting to Bali from North America is no easy feat. There just aren’t any direct flights, so you will arrive tired, and in my case a bit grumpy. We had a team meeting to meet the other folks traveling with us which was just perfect I highly doubt beyond checking in, a lap in the pool and an early dinner is about all you will wish to do one day one.
Day 2 – We met our driver, and piled on to a small bus that would be our transportation until we headed over to the Gilli Islands. Our real adventure began with the drive from Bali to Angseri Hot Springs where we stopped to bathe in therapeutic waters surrounded by natures beauty. Plan on spending about two to three hours here. Following this welcome stop, we continue upwards for another 30 minute drive over the mountains and into the caldera surrounding the town of Bedugal, where we spent the afternoon exploring the sights including the Ulun Danu Temple Complex, founded in the 17th century by the King of Mengwi and dedicated to the gods of the lakes, before continuing to our overnight stop at Munduk.
We spent several hours exploring – a couple of girls, stopped us to ask if the could take a picture of us. I don’t think they has seen any westerners in awhile.

Tonight we get to experience true Balinese hospitality with a local dinner.
